I’m Jodi Elliott, a life-long resident of Hull. I started this business with my daughter in May of 2018 and have been treating our customers’ yards for mosquitoes and ticks ever since. Why? Well, that’s an interesting story. Ash had contracted Lyme disease sometime in 2007-2008 but was misdiagnosed for almost three years. During that time, we saw three different sets of doctors treating her symptoms: gastrointestinal issues, headaches, and joint pains. Ashe’s health deteriorated drastically over the next year and culminated in 10 days of hospitalization. Ash had a PICC line attached directly to her chest through which we gave her a cocktail of antibiotics twice a day for over six months. All of this could have been avoided through either prevention or a normal dose of antibiotics three years earlier. Ash has been symptom-free for over ten years, but we don’t want her story to happen to anyone else. If I knew then what I know now, I would have done more to protect my family.
