Scorpion Pest Control

Scorpions are fearsome-looking predators that hunt pests like insects, rodents, and small snakes. Unfortunately, when they feel threatened, they will attack—and pack a mighty sting. Mosquito Joe®’s professional scorpion pest control removes the arachnids on your property and prevents their return.

Let Us Call You

  • Scorpions prey on insects and other small pests, so removing their food source keeps the stingers away, too. If you remove scorpion food, water, and shelter sources on your property, scorpions have no reason to make their home alongside yours.

  • Repair leaking faucets and fixtures, get rid of standing water, keep shrubs and grass trimmed, remove leaf litter, seal cracks and crevices in walls, decks, patios, and fences, and keep trash cans and pet or bird food in sealed containers.

  • Repair window screens, seal cracks and crevices in walls, doors, and windows, screen the chimney vent, clean up spilled food, pick up pet food, store food in air-tight containers, repair leaky faucets, and prevent standing water.

Signs of a Potential Scorpion Problem

While scorpions typically prefer dry, semi-arid habitats, most states in America host scorpion populations. Luckily, most scorpions are not deadly to healthy adult humans, but their sting is excruciating. Sighting a scorpion in your yard or home (shudder) is the clearest sign you have scorpions, but there are a couple of other signs to watch for.

  • Empty Exoskeletons

Scorpions shed their exoskeletons over time. You might see an empty exoskeleton around their nest.

  • Droppings

Tiny, round, black pellets, smaller than mouse droppings, may be found in the attic or basement.

  • Repeated Sightings

Scorpions are generally solitary, so repeat sightings may make scorpion pest control more urgent.

For 8 years we have been battling the mosquito. We have stayed in many beautiful evenings because of the pests. For the first time this year, after one application by Mosquito Joe, we have enjoyed every night this summer sitting on our deck. What a great service!

    Service: Home Pest Control

It actually works!! I was skeptical at first. The mosquitoes are so bad here, but not since we've had this service. My neighbors also signed up because they noticed that we had no mosquitoes.
