American Red Cross

Mosquitoes are collecting blood from us and our friends every day, without asking, but we’d rather be donating blood to a better cause. That’s why, seven years ago, Mosquito Joe and American Red Cross partnered to raise awareness about blood donation centers and the importance of donating blood in your local community during our Beat the Bloodsuckers campaign. During this time Mosquito Joe locations across the country partner with local blood donation centers for Mosquito Control Awareness Week. For every new customer that signs up for mosquito control services during Mosquito Control Awareness Week, participating locations will donate 10% of the sale to those local blood banks.

Guns ‘N Hoses

During the annual Guns ‘N Hoses event, St. Louis firefighters and police officers compete at the Enterprise Center in a boxing event that benefits The Back-stoppers. Team members Zach Bates, Stacy Burch, Meghan Menzenwerth, and Anastasia Sonntag spent Friday, February 14th helping sort food and bag food for distribution, as well as sort through canned goods and shelf-stable items to make the process easier, allowing more people to be fed.
